This week our destination is Breanne and our challenge theme was music.
I may have gotten a little carried away the Wizard of Tea thingy but I couldn't help myself!! I have always loved the Wizard of Oz and chose to go with a scene out of the movie! I tried my hand at drawing, again, and surprisingly nothing has changed...I still can't draw nor do I truly understand the concept of perspective drawing. LOL So, if my piano road looks a little out of whack you will just have to ignore it!!
Stamped the bitty bg stamp from Elegant Notes to create the Emerald City then stamped the Note over it. Hand drew my road and then masked it and sponged my bg using soft greens and blues. Drew in the piano keys (now this is where I really get out a whack with the whole perspective thingy) and then used small strips of black to finish the look of the keys. Cut out a couple of marachino cherries and added a little sparkle (that didn't photograph well) and then punched a zillion little flowers and glued them on. Colored the centers yellow with a marker.
I'm off to see the Wizard, the wonderful wizard of OZ!! My card will be going out to Breanne tomorrow.
Thanks for peeking at my crazy creation!!

I love the way the keyboard just takes off into space from the bed of flowers. I wouldn't have noticed the perspective if you hadn't said anything, it's not that noticeable.

You stinker! This is what my card was supposed to look like! It was supposed to be this awesome! OMG! I love, love, love this card! It is truly the most magical card! I can just see the magic in the background...and that black and white striped path, how is that not the most amazing thing ever! This card rocks and will be such a most wonderful addition to Breanne's gallery of cards!
Rut roh, a flying monkey just knabbed one of your cherries...well, at least he didn't knab you! I love this card!
